When legal assessment may be required

Revision, appeal or another remedy?

The remedy should be classified from the challenged order and governing provision. A revision ordinarily involves supervisory scrutiny within the statutory framework and should not be presented as a second appeal on facts. The lower-court record and procedural stage are therefore central to the assessment.
Prepare the challenged order, complete order sheets, underlying complaint or police papers, material applications and a short chronology. Clearly identify the alleged jurisdictional error, illegality or material irregularity and any separate interim request.
